We just got another idea to use the most popular smartphone with so many features as HAM tools. The first idea is the easy application one. Well, how if we use our smartphone touch screen as a “Morse Keyer”? The concept is simple, the smartphone reads our finger touch, then sends it as output logic to the transceiver, via Bluetooth. Then we added another function such as keyboard and memory sender.
We learned and tried to program the android in a couple of days. Then searching and choosing the BLE IC, read the datasheets, then we decide to use the CC2540 BLE chips. The result is as the picture below.
The picture below is the app. We hope to upload it to “PlayStore” soon. Then we may upgrade the apps as the program will grow with many features next.

We hope this will make CW mode more popular, and many HAM will try it.
